St. Mary’s Spring Carnival
Friday, May 3 from 6:00 pm - 10:00 pm and Saturday, May 4th from 3:00 pm - 10:00 pm at Memorial Field (Corner of Monona & Darwin)
Head down to the St. Mary Carnival where there will be fun rides, games, and delicious food.

Elks Cinco de Mayo Bunco
Friday, May 3rd at 7:00 pm
$15 a person and everyone is welcome! No need to know how to play, you will learn at the event. See flyer for more details.
Meet Snow White
Saturday, May 4th at 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm at the Rutherford Public Library
Once Upon A Princess Parties NJ presents Snow White. Kids can meet a real fairytale princess right in our town! Snow White will meet and greet all guests, take photos, and engage children in a special story time.
Friends of the Library of Rutherford's Spring Book Sale

The Friends of the Library of Rutherford is hosting a Spring Book Sale at the Rutherford Public Library. Purchase some new books while supporting our Public Library.


Pierrepont PTA’s Used Clothing Drive
Saturday, May 4th at 9:00 am - 3:00 pm at Pierrepont School: 70 East Pierrepont Ave.
Help the 6th grade class raise funds for their End of the Year Event. Every little bit counts. Donate clothing, accessories, household items, and toys. Wrap up your donations in well tied trash bags and just drop them off! Get some spring cleaning done this weekend while helping out a worthy cause.
Rutherford High School Baseball Team Tournament at Memorial Field
Saturday, May 4th at 3:00 pm
Rutherford High School's Baseball Team is currently in the top 8 seeds of Bergen County teams and will be going into the Bergen County Baseball Team Tournament currently ranked #1. Catch the game against Dumont at Memorial Field at 3:00 pm.

Nereid Boat Club’s Cinco de Mayo on the Water Fundraiser
Saturday, May 4th at 4:30 pm – 7:30 pm at Nereid Boat Club, 350 Riverside Ave, Rutherford
Celebrate Cinco de Mayo outside the Nereid Boat Club, a great waterside venue! Dave Rangel (a James Beard-invitee/NYC award winning chef) & his team of dedicated Nereid parents are putting together an amazing menu. All happening before the Saturday night festivities start—so arrive early. There will be music, food, beer from Brooklyn Brewery, a Margarita Cash Bar, a Wine Pull, and a Silent Auction. There will be a wide range of auction items and baskets available for bidding and the Wine Pull will cost $20 per bottle. Unique prizes for the tricky tray...it’s going to be a great time. All proceeds go towards purchasing some much needed new equipment for Nereid’s Youth Rowing Programs.
Ticket are $25 per person or $60 for a family of three or more and includes entry, food, and beer. Purchase tickets here.

REF “Run for the Rosé” Wine Tasting Fundraiser
Saturday, May 4th at 7:30 pm - 10:30 pm at the Rutherford Elks Lodge
This year’s theme is “RUN FOR THE ROSÉ”. REF’s wine tasting is being held on the same day as the Kentucky Derby! Feel free to wear your Derby finest. Hats, fascinators, and bow-ties. All optional but we know you want to 😉
