Rutherford High School won the 2019 Bergen County Consumer Bowl Competition!
Under the leadership of Mrs. Judy Leonard and Ms. Cherryl Bott, Business Education teachers at RHS, Rutherford High School students Khushi Hemrajani, Toni DeSalvo,Virgil Minnick, Dominick Mauro, and Zachary Bouabidi won the Bergen County New Jersey High School Consumer Bowl champions! The students will now compete in the Northern Regional Competition on April 8, 2019.
In 1997, the Consumer Bowl was organized as a way to assist young adults learn about a variety of consumer issues. Students compete as teams and answer questions about topics such as: credit, purchasing insurance, buying and leasing cars, making investments, consumer scams and other important consumer topics.
