This year's Rutherford Day was held on Saturday, October 3rd after a Nor'easter rained out the original date of Saturday, September 26th. However October 3rd was a perfect autumn day in Rutherford and thousands of people enjoyed the food from a variety of food trucks, as well as Rutherford Engine Company 2, music, interactive activities, and visiting business and community group tables. People were also able to visit the Farmer's Market throughout the day.

Public Information Officer, Kim Bogosian, organized over 100 vendors who participated in this much anticipated event. Borough employees and others volunteered to assist with this massive event. There was live music by local musicians Kurt & Marty and The Retrocasters. The Rutherford High School choir sang the National Anthem to open the day's events. Other performers included the Rutherford's Got Talent 2025 Winners and Broadway and off-Broadway talent from Rutherford's newest theater group, Stars Theatre Company.

The Woman's Club of Rutherford collected toiletries to be donated to the Center for Hope & Safety. Along Donaldson Ave, there was a dog adoption area hosted by 2 Hands Saving 4 Paws. An annual favorite, the Dunk Tank, hosted by the Rutherford Education Foundation, gave children the opportunity to dunk school staff and REF members.

Many families visited the gazebo where they picked up their Scavenger Hunt page. After completing the Scavenger Hunt by visiting various tables in Lincoln Park and along Park Ave they received a special prize.

Rutherford Day was sponsored by Neglia Engineering, Columbia Bank, Vango Development, Athletic Fields of America, MS&B, Cates Electric, Cleary-Giacobbe-Alfieri-Jacobs-Lagana, and Bruno & Ferraro.
