We’re off to a RELAY great start this year! We’ve signed up new participants, new sponsors, and have some great events coming up.

We are so excited to announce that we have partnered with Allstate Dan Meredith Agency in securing a grant for Relay For Life totaling over $10,000! Thank you so much to our friends and wonderful supporters Dan and Kristen Meredith and the Allstate agency for their hard work and support of Relay and our community! This grant money will go a long way towards helping us fight back against cancer!

Relay For Life of Rutherford will be honored at the Business Partner Network event on March 25th at 6:00pm at Al Di La restaurant in East Rutherford. Please see click here for more details.

Our Youth Recruiters are hard at work at RHS. Be on the lookout for upcoming student registration discounts, Game Night, and we’re gonna PAINT THE SCHOOL PURPLE!

Be sure to check out Sidescrollers in East Rutherford! During some of their events they are raising money with our Youth Recruiters to support Relay.

In April we will host PAINT THE TOWN PURPLE! Join us for some fun in painting our town to represent cancer awareness. Date and Location will be upcoming. Check out the website and social media for up to date info.

Some of our schools will be learning their ABC’s with ART BEATING CANCER. In the coming months, Luminaria bags will be sent home with students to decorate.

Be on the lookout for some fun food fundraisers, like Chipotle, Texas Roadhouse, Panera Bread, and restaurants in town. We’re hungry to beat cancer!

Need Volunteer Hours? We’re always looking for help with events, whether it be preparations or during events.

Calling All Photographers! We need help documenting our awesome event. If you’re interested in taking some pictures or video for us during Relay, please e-mail us. You don’t have to be a professional and you don’t have to stay the whole time—we will sign off on volunteer hours for you.

If you’re a cancer survivor, we would love to honor you at our Survivor Dinner at Relay on May 15th . We know how special and important you are. Please e-mail us for more details.
