Event Recap: Healing Hearts Beach Party

As a way to thank our local first responders from the Rutherford Fire Department, Rutherford First-Aid Ambulance Corps, and Rutherford Police Department, the Healing Hearts of Rutherford had a Beach Party at the Elks Club free of charge for all First Responders on April 22, 2023.

Members of the community came out to celebrate the selfless volunteer work of all first responders and their tireless efforts to assist victims of violence, as well as others.

The party had a beach theme complete with a surfboard bar where the rum tasting took place, beach games, including a duck fishing game, as well as many other fun activities. The band, The Big House, also performed. Food donations were provided by Jim Dandy's in Rutherford, and Elks Club and Healing Hearts members.
