Woman's Club Donates Blizzard Bags

Every year the Woman’s Club of Rutherford prepares Blizzard Bags for the elderly and home-bound in Bergen County. These bags are filled with food and snacks so that if the weather prevents residents from getting to the food store, they have a small emergency supply of things to eat and drink.
This year the Club prepared 60 bags which will be distributed by Meals on Wheels.
The Woman’s Club of Rutherford is a 130-year-old organization that has been providing support to local charities and organizations since its inception. For membership information contact Debra at 201-939-1050.
