Voting for the Edible Book Contest Now Open

By Jennifer Ersalesi

Recently, members of the community entered their Edible Book creations into the Edible Book Contest at the Rutherford Public Library virtually. Each of the entries can now be seen on the Rutherford Public Library website. All are welcome to vote for People’s Choice while also donating to the Friends of Library until November 14th. Each vote costs $1. Please click here to vote for your favorites.

The Friends of the Library is a 501(c)3 organization that provides funding for many of the Rutheford Public Library’s programs and events. They provide financial support for special programs for children, the Museum Pass Program, Summer Reading Program, free Monthly Movie Nights, the Edible Book Contest, and the presentation of the Nutcracker in December by the Garden State Ballet.

As a 501(c)3 organization, the Friends of Library relies on fundraising opportunities such as their bi-annual book sales, the James Hand Map of Rutherford sale, donations received from the Edible Book Contest, etc.
