As individuals who pride themselves in protecting and serving our Borough, the Rutherford Police Department has organized a couple of upcoming events to continue their community outreach.
Please join the Rutherford Police Department and Matera's on Park for our first-ever, "Hot Chocolate with a Cop" event on Wednesday, January 31st. The event will take place from 2:30 pm until 4:30 pm inside the LOFT (Located directly above Matera's). Attendees will receive a FREE delicious hot chocolate and a commemorative mug. Sergeant Tom Lewis explained, "We look forward to this great opportunity to meet with the members of our community that we so proudly serve."
School Resource Officer and Detective Frank Inglese and Officer Katherine Calienni have organized a Bowling Fundraiser for the NJ Special Olympics at North Arlington Bowl on Friday, February 23rd from 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm. A $30 Donation per person gives you 2 hours of bowling, free shoe rentals, and a free pizza and soft drink. All proceeds with be donated to the Special Olympics.
