Touch A Heart 5K Run & Fun Walk
Saturday, June 15 @ 8:00 am at Memorial Park
Race day registration begins at 8am.
Andrew was a 13-year-old whose life ended too soon on August 28, 2010, when he passed away from Sudden Cardiac Arrest. Please help honor Andrew’s memory by raising awareness of this condition and working toward preventing more untimely deaths.
Annual Downhill Derby
Saturday, June 15 @ 1:00 pm - 6:00 pm
The 3rd Annual Rutherford Downhill Derby will be held on Saturday, June 15, 2019, 1pm – 6pm, along West Pierrepont Avenue.
Watch as kids and adults use science and engineering concepts to design, build and race gravity powered race carts.
Competitors were challenged to come up with a cart design that will not only be fast, but can actually be built and look good. Come see what they’ve built and cheer on your favorite cart.
Thompson Square at the Racetrack
Saturday, June 15, 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Country is taking over Meadowlands Racing & Entertainment on Saturday, June 15th when the multi-platinum selling duo, Thompson Square takes the stage.
Doors for the show open at 2:30 p.m. with the Jason Wicks Band getting the party started at 4 p.m.
The headliner, Thompson Square will electrify the crowd beginning at 6 p.m. The party continues with live racing at 7:15 p.m. and Lauren Davidson on the stage.
