The RPA Gives Back this Holiday Season

The Rutherford Pride Alliance recently collected donations for the LGBT RAIN (Reaching Adolescents in Need) Foundation. In an effort to provide for those in need, the RPA asked their members and the Rutherford community to donate items requested by the LGBT RAIN Foundation. Donations included items from the wish list provided on the organization’s website, such as underwear, coats, socks, etc.), as well as gently used clothing.

The mission of the LGBT RAIN Foundation, a 501 c(3) non-profit, is to help young LGBTQ individuals (ages 18-26) who need emergency shelter, transitional housing, or permanent supportive housing after they've experienced a crisis leading to homelessness.

The Rutherford Pride Alliance proudly delivered the collected items to the Essex RAIN Housing this holiday season and hopes to continue to support this Foundation throughout the year.
