Rutherford Public Library Gala

The Rutherford Public Library Foundation's Annual Gala will return to Il Villaggio on Saturday, May 14 after a two-year hiatus. This year's honoree is Rutherford Mayor Frank Nunziato, who will be honored for his leadership of the community during the pandemic, as well as his steadfast support of the Rutherford Public Library.

The Gala, one of Rutherford's biggest events of the year, is the Foundation's largest annual fundraiser. All proceeds benefit the Rutherford Public Library. The mission of the Rutherford Public Library Foundation is to develop a basis of continued financial support to ensure the library’s commitment to providing lifelong learning services to the community. In the past, the Foundation has funded many capital improvements to the library. Its most recent donation was the electronic sign on the building's front plaza. All are welcome to attend the gala. Tickets may be purchased online. Those wishing to pay by cash or check may do so at the library.
