Rutherford Little League Baseball and Softball Parade

This past Saturday, April 11th, 2026, the Rutherford Little League Baseball Juniors, Majors, AAA, AA, and Tee-Ball teams and the Rutherford Little League Softball Juniors, Majors, and AAA teams proudly held up signs as they participated in the parade. They traveled from Springfield Ave to Diamond 4 at Memorial Field where they all joined together accompanied by Rutherford Fire engines and Rutherford First-Aid ambulances.

At Diamond 4, teams were recognized along with their managers. Softball player, Mia DiLorenzo, sang the National Anthem before first-pitch ceremonies began.

The rest of opening day was filled with games, snacks from the Little League Field Snack Stand, merchandise sales, and beverages from The Wandering Cup food truck.
