RIAA Parade Recap

On Sunday, March 6th the Rutherford Irish American Association held their annual St. Patrick's Day Parade which had been canceled the last two years due to the Covid pandemic.

The St. Patrick's Day Parade was a huge success and included a number of community groups, the Rutherford Fire Department, Rutherford First-Aid Ambulance Corps, Rutherford Police Department, local businesses, bagpipers from the area, marching bands, and so much more.

Along the parade route, hundreds of people gathered and cheered. Siobhan McGirl, a friend of a member of the Rutherford Irish American Association created a video that captures the energy of this special event. Click here to watch the video.
