RHS Swimming, Basketball, and Wrestling Achievements

The Rutherford High School Boys' Swim Team recently won the North 1, Group C State Sectionals Finals. Sam Lorenc, RHS Senior was named MVP for the Boys Swimming North Jersey Section 1, Group C State Finals. This is the first time the team has ever won the State Sectional finals. Mike Lazzara, from the Rutherford Swim Association, explained, "The Rutherford Swim Association would like to congratulate the boys on this momentous accomplishment. Go Bulldogs!"

The RHS Girls' Basketball Team won the Bergen County Invitational Tournament last week.

The RHS Wrestling Team are NJIC Colonial Division Champs. Jeff Rehain was named Coach of the Year. First Team All-Division Wrestlers include Joe Keeler, Jake Torre, Nick Lora, Chris Lora, and Gavin McGill. Second Team All-Division Wrestlers include Sreedev Sriju and Bohdan Fedorko. Honorable Mention: Dante Geanoules.
