Each year Rutherford High School presents the Festival of the Arts, where visual arts, including photography, paintings, drawings, textiles, and ceramics, and the performing arts are on display for community members.
This year's Festival of the Arts took place on Wednesday, May 21st. The media center and hallways were filled with art and singers and musicians filled with the choir room with music. Arts teachers, Ms. Stephanie Castellano (Ceramics), Ms. Veronica Grillo (Drawing and Painting), and Mr. Steven Mett (Photography) attended the event along with many of their students who showed off their amazing work to their family and friends.
In the choir room, soloists sang some of their favorite songs and wind ensembles, rock bands, and other instrumentalists played many familiar tunes as family, friends and their teachers, Mr. Joseph Cavezza (Instrumental teacher) and Mrs. Patricia Blanchard (Vocal music teacher) watched proudly.
