This year, the Ragamuffin Parade took place on Saturday, October 25th, on a crisp, sunny fall morning. As in years past, participants gathered in front of Rutherford High School and then walked to Lincoln Park where judges and a large audience waited for them to arrive. Councilman Ray Guzman and Councilwoman Christie Delrey-Cone were the Masters of Ceremonies for this beloved tradition. Mayor Frank Nunziato and Councilwoman Stephanie McGowan were also there to cheer on the participants. The Ragamuffin parade was organized and run by the Rutherford Recreation team, including Director Pat Bonner, Janice Guzman, and Sandi Maslag.

The judges found it challenging to determine the winners due to the numerous creative costumes on display. After much deliberation, they chose these ten winners. Three of the award winners were the Ballerina Jewelry Box, Back to the Future, and The Claw.

Other award winners were the Fairy Garden, Sesame Street, and Lobster Trap.

Tony Soprano and family, and The Nutcracker were also award winners.

The other three winners were Space and The Nightmare Before Christmas.

The Grand Prize Winner was The Jersey Shore.
