Pop-Up Thrift Shop

The Woman’s Club of Rutherford has been active for over 130 years finding ways to support their community through a variety of different charitable efforts. The Lion’s Club of Rutherford has been active and supporting the community for 100 years. Both Clubs have found a number of creative ways to fundraise throughout the years. However, this past year due to the pandemic, both clubs have altered some fundraisers they’ve done in the past and have also come up with some new, interesting ways to raise important funds.
The Lion's and Woman's Clubs of Rutherford recently joined together to organize and begin collecting clothing and other items for a Pop-Up Thrift Shop. They held a drive at the Woman’s Club of Rutherford Clubhouse and also solicited donations via social media. The donations received include gently used clothing, shoes, accessories, handbags, belts, and sneakers available for both children and adults. All of these items will be on sale during the Pop-Up Thrift Shop which will be held at the Woman’s Club Clubhouse, located at 201 Fairview Ave, from 9 am until 4 pm.
