Muslim Heritage Month

In April 2023 Governor Murphy signed a joint resolution designating the month of January as “Muslim Heritage Month.” The Muslim Heritage Month Committee has been working on various ways to educate people about the significant contributions made by Muslims.  One of the best places to learn more is through our libraries which are rich in resources and vital in engaging the community.

The Theme of the month is Inventions. There are a plethora of resources on numerous and significant inventions made by Muslims. These resources include books, films, and displays.
