High Five to Hometown Heroes

First responders always deserve to be recognized and over the last eighteen months, the community of Rutherford has found a number of ways to honor those individuals who devote their time to protecting and serving our community.

On Friday, September 10th, the Kindergarten Center honored local first responders with a High Five to Hometown Heroes. Rutherford Police Officers, First-Aid Volunteer Ambulance Corps Members, and Firefighters visited the Kindergarten Center where students greeted them proudly wearing red, white, and blue. Students shared notes of appreciation and gave out “high fives” to the Hometown Heroes!
