The First Presbyterian Church of Rutherford will host a three-week session on forgiveness with clinical social worker Perri Nunziato, of Rutherford and Lyndhurst, leading participants through Lewis Smedes' classic book on forgiveness, Forgive & Forget . Smedes shows us that it is possible to heal our pain and let go of the resentment that poisons us. By using the four step process outlined in the book Forgive & Forget, Nunziato will show us how to find the energy needed to forgive our wrong-doers and release the feelings of hurt and anger that occupy our minds and souls. Smedes offers hope and solace for anyone who longs for peace that comes with forgiveness.
The sessions will take place Sundays, November 17, December 1 and December 8 at 11:50 a.m. at the Karen Kaiser Parish House on West Passaic Street. Please call the church at
(201) 438-3569 to register for this free class and so that we can reserve a book for you.
Mrs. Perri Nunziato received her Masters in Social Work from New York University. She has been in private practice for 20 years.
