Facing Grief Over Disappointment by Dr. Wendy Mogel

Rabbi Lerman and Bina Lerman of Temple Beth-El in Rutherford are excited to announce that on Monday, May 24th they will be hosting a Zoom event with Dr. Wendy Mogel. Dr. Mogel is a New York Times best-selling author and international public speaker. Her mission is the protection and promotion of self-reliance, resilience, accountability, and exuberance in children.


With other forty years of experience in her field, Dr. Mogel also hosts a Podcast, “Nurture vs. Nurture” and has written a new book titled, “What to Say, How to Say It and When to Listen”, which provides helpful advice for parents, coaches, teachers, etc. to communicate with children through childhood and adolescence.


Dr. Mogel will be addressing the topic of helping our children deal with change and disappointment specifically related to changes and disappointments during the COVID pandemic.
