The Holiday season has officially begun in Rutherford and the Rutherford Chamber of Commerce's 71st Annual Holiday Parade was just one of the many ways the Borough kicked off the season. Right before the Parade, there were many activities set up on the West End of town (Union Ave) where people were able to enjoy tasty treats, trackless train rides, martial arts demonstrations, and live music.

Over thirty groups, organizations and businesses participated in the parade on Saturday, November 25th. Participants made their way down Union Ave to Park Avenue where the tree lighting took place in front of the Rutherford Public Library.

Emergency vehicles with flashing lights and sirens, young children dressed in festive costumes, decorated vehicles, RHS and RJF football teams, the RHS marching band, Santa Claus, live bands, including local youth bands "Ghost Notes", "Parmesan Cheese", and many others brought holiday joy to the many spectators.
