Mason’s Cellar.
Redefining the Liquor Store.
By Tracy Leigh
It’s been an incredible adventure for Mason’s Cellar since their inception in 2013. Originally occupying a former bank on Park Avenue they were well known for their bank vault collection of fine wine and whiskeys, as well as their hospitality and stellar customer service. In early 2018, they renovated a 5,000 sq ft. store located at 32 Ames Avenue, which housed the longtime Rutherford institution, New China Inn. They opened their new location during the summer of 2018 and are adding even more to their extensive wine selection with an addition of over 300 new wines this spring. Is it spring yet?

Did you know that Mason’s Cellar does more than just sell liquor?
Check out their special services. In-home private tastings, bottle engraving, customized wine labels, personalized gift baskets (a TIR favorite), complimentary delivery to any Park Ave establishment as well as event consulting. They do it all!

Oh, and did we mention the parking? Patrons now have plenty of parking with a front and a rear entrance. Their private parking lot can be entered from Union Avenue for those customers coming through the rear entrance. Ames Avenue also has plenty of street parking and there is a municipal lot across the street from the front entrance.

But, perhaps the newest addition TIR is most excited about is their brand new prohibition themed event venue, The 18th Amendment. While Mason’s Cellar is thrilled to hold their own great tastings, classes, and events at the 18th, they are even more enthusiastic to open up the possibility to the public to hold their own events there. They are working tirelessly to ensure The 18th Amendment becomes a premier event venue for all to enjoy and make memories in.

Same old Mason’s, just a new home that they’ve made all their own and we can’t wait to see what else they do!
